CH-47F Chinook

The Boeing CH-47F Chinook is one of the world’s most iconic aircraft and the Australian Army’s largest helicopter. It has supported Australia’s military, peacetime and humanitarian operations for more than 50 years, from disaster relief and search and rescue to medical evacuation and troop lift. Its tandem rotor configuration and advanced cargo-handling capability make it ideally suited to multi-domain operations.

Boeing Defence Australia has established a Chinook centre of excellence in Australia in support of the Australian Army and the Republic of Singapore Air Force fleets.
