Payroll Remediation Program

Boeing Australia has identified some issues in the accrual of leave entitlements and payments associated with public holidays as part of a proactive payroll compliance review.

What this means is that, inadvertently there have been incorrect leave accruals and payments for some current and former employees. These have been both under and over accruals/payments.

Some current and former employees from the following entities have been identified as being affected:

Current Boeing employers
  • Boeing Defence Australia Ltd (BDA) and
  • Insitu Pacific Pty Ltd (IPL).
Former Boeing employers
  • Boeing Australia Component Repairs Pty Ltd (BACR)
  • Boeing Training and Professional Services (BTPS) and

Boeing Australia is also continuing to undertake further analysis of other Boeing Australia entities and will have more to report soon.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused current or former employees.

Boeing Australia is committed to fixing and remediating these issues as soon as practicable and taking steps to ensure the issues identified do not occur again. We are working transparently with our employees, representative employee groups and unions.

We have voluntarily disclosed the matter to the Fair Work Ombudsman and relevant Long Service Leave Regulators. We will also work through next steps with the Australian Taxation Office and Offices of State Revenue.
