Boeing launches recruitment drive
December 18, 2017
Boeing is ramping up efforts to fill up to 250 roles in its Australian defence business as the company prepares its workforce for continued growth across the air, land and cyber domains.
The recruitment drive follows several contract wins for Boeing Defence Australia this year in support of the Australian Defence Force’s C-17A Globemaster, E-7A Wedgetail, F/A-18 Classic Hornet, and P-8A Poseidon fleets.
Boeing Defence Australia chief engineer Stephen Hudson said a large contingent of positions are in the engineering field.
“It is an exciting time to be an engineer with Boeing in Australia,” said Hudson.
“From graduates through to senior management, Boeing employees work on projects that push the boundaries of imagination and excellence every day.
“We have a portfolio of work spanning almost every discipline of engineering in support of some of the nation’s most complex defence programs.”
Roles are based across Australia and include hardware, software, systems, electrical and electronic and aerospace engineering roles, as well as a number of technical, maintenance and analysis positions.
As an equal opportunity employer, Boeing Defence Australia strongly encourages women and people of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent to apply.
Applicants are encouraged to head to www.boeing.com.au and visit the Boeing Defence Australia careers page for more information.
